2nd Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt- 2024: Success!

Our HOA would like to give a huge shout out and thank you to our wonderful Secretary and neighbor, Britni Schneider, for putting on a spectacular event last Saturday- the Brookwillow Village 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt! We are so grateful for this special opportunity that brought together lots of kids and families! From vibrant spring decor, to a party trailer full of games, 500 eggs stuffed & hidden, a visit from the Easter Bunny, extensive efforts to distribute flyers, and more, we are beyond happy to celebrate this successful event, and additionally, everyone who helped in this process! Thank you Britni! We really appreciate you! And thank you to all who participated, whether by volunteering your time, or by bringing your kids to enjoy the fun! Cheers!

Weight Room Upgrades

New equipment was installed in the Clubhouse weight room, replacing broken machines and damaged weights. Brand new rubber coated hex hand weights ranging from 5-50 lbs. & a new Fitness Gear Olympic weight bench. The weight room was reorganized and cleaned as well. Management installed new security cameras in the weight room to ensure safety and security for all members and guests. Treadmills and stationary bikes were relocated to adjacent cardio rooms to create more space for resistance exercise.

Trash Service Contact

Management has fielded a few contacts regarding trash services in the neighborhood (for townhomes). We are glad to help with this, but if you would like to contact Waste Management (WM) directly, you can do so. If you have any issues with your trash can or services (such as a missed pickup), you can contact WM customer services directly at (888) 496-8824, providing your unit address, to address a problem directly. This number is also posted on the “Information” page. Thank you!

Clubhouse Halloween Party

The homeowner’s association is hosting a Halloween laser light costume party at the Clubhouse on Orion Way from 6 PM – 10 PM on Tuesday, October 31st, 2023. All Brookwillow Village members and guests are welcome. Dress up in your favorite costume and bring your kiddos by for some good old fashioned trick or treating fun.

Randy Abeyta from Rangolian Light and Sound will be our DJ for the event, including an amazing LED light and laser show for our entertainment.

Clubhouse and Playground Updates

We have had some recent issues at the clubhouse and the playground between Brookwillow Loop and Theresea Lane. Both of these locations have been made a mess of, likely by unsupervised kids. We are getting these locations cleaned up, which is an extra expense to the association – that is – the homeowners in Brookwillow. The messes make these amenities unpleasant to use by others. Please be sure to supervise your children, and clean up after yourself and your kids when using the common areas of the HOA.

Clubhouse key cards: The key card database is being updated over the next few weeks. All cards where we can’t identify the cardholder, or cards listed under previous owners will be disabled this week. If your key card has stopped working, you can call or text during business hours and provide your name, email, unit address, and key card number, and we can provide a temporary PIN to get you immediate access to the clubhouse. Call or text Red Leaf at (970) 713-0340. Online key card registration can be submitted at any time, and we will activate your card as soon as possible afterward. A temporary PIN can be provided the same day (or the next business day). Click here for online key card registration.

Online Payments are Back!

We are getting systems back in place after the management transition! We have the online payment solution back in place. The link is above (click “Pay Dues Online”). For those who have used the system in the past, you will have to recreate your account and setup your payment information, as we were not able to transfer between the old account and the new account. The platform is the same, so you should be familiar with everything.

For those who pay by check or money order, your payments will continue to be made payable to Brookwillow Village HOA, and mailed to:

Brookwillow Village HOA
P.O. Box 3984
Grand Junction, CO 81502

And, finally, if we have your email address on file, we have emailed out a statement of your balance and recent account activity. We will also have a statement and introduction letter out in the mail – which you should see in the next few days. Please review your statement and records for any discrepancies and let me know right away if you have concerns.

Thank you!
Scott

Management Transition and Autopay

Hello! My company, Red Leaf HOA Management, is excited to start serving your community!

As we transition from Grand Mesa Management to Red Leaf, there may be a few bumps in the road but we will do our best to keep those to a minimum for the members. The first one is the autopayment system. We are working diligently to get that set up, but we are at the mercy of the bank to get things set up. I am in frequent communication with them to make sure the process is moving along as quickly as possible to get this in place for you.

For those who mail checks, the post office box will not change (P.O. Box 3984). You can continue to send payments as before.

If you have any questions, please call, text, or email. Please include your name and address in communications.
